An evening to the musical legacy of June Christy (November 20, 1925 – June 21, 1990). Following in the footsteps of Anita O’Day, Christy was a member of the “cool school” of jazz singing. With a style rooted in understatement and fuelled by a contagious sense of swing, Christy remains one of the cherished heroines of jazz singing. The evening will feature guest vocalists Pam Hyatt and Marla Lukofsky.
