JakeFest is a star-studded revue, with performances from the musical friends of BIG RUDE JAKE (Jake Hiebert), who will pay homage to him while raising funds to help him with his battle against cancer. These much-needed funds will ease some of the burdens for Jake and his family (Anna-Lisa, his wife and his 7 year old daughter Hope) while Jake continues to fight a battle against cancer.

Toronto singer-songwriter Ori Dagan's new release "Click Right Here" brings jazz into the 21st century. The inspired collection of 10 original songs is inspired by 21st century life and was written, recorded and produced during the pandemic. With songs about social media, online dating, technological woes and other 21st century blues, the album presents a joyful escape from, and timely reflection upon, a world spinning out of control. Joining Dagan on the El Mocambo stage is an 8-piece jazz band featuring Canada’s finest: Nathan Hiltz (guitar); Attila Fias (piano); Michael Herring (bass); Ben Wittman (drums); Alison Young (alto sax); Colleen Allen (tenor sax); William Carn (trombone); Andrew McAnsh (trumpet) and surprise special guests!
