Bass and Voice with Neil Swainson

The Oud & the Fuzz, 21 Kensington Avenue, Toronto

Inspired by the legendary Sheila Jordan who invented this format, Ori Dagan has been performing "Bass and Voice" for nearly 15 years with artists such as Jordan O'Connor, Alex Bellegarde, Brandi Disterheft and Order of Canada member Dave Young. For the first time he teams up with the legendary Neil Swainson, at Kensington Market's newest hot spot, The Oud & The Fuzz. Show takes place on the sheltered back patio. No Reservations, great food and drink in this friendly Armenian cocktail bar. Music Charge $15.

24 Canadian jazz vocalists perform from home for this live concert curated by Karin Plato (Joy of Jazz Concerts) co-hosted by Zarina Mulla via ZOOM

Vancouver, BC, February 1st 2021 - Valentine's Day Sunday February 14 at 4 PM PST Joy of Jazz Concerts presents 24 Canadian jazz vocalists and 6 instrumentalists performing live from their homes in support of Canada Food Banks. Acclaimed jazz artists, rising stars, award winners and award nominees from BC, The Yukon, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec perform together on the virtual stage. Admission is by donation to Food Banks Canada with suggested minimum $20.00. The concert will be performed via ZOOM and co-hosted by Vancouver's Karin Plato (Joy of Jazz Concerts) and Zarina Mulla Time Zones: 4 PM PST, 5 PM PT, 7 PM EST
