Let Yourself Go: Ori Dagan + Alex Pangman + Natasha Powell
Central to the concept of jazz is the notion of improvisation, of pushing one's boundaries in a quest for freedom of expression. "LET YOURSELF GO!" is a debut collaboration curated especially for LulaWorld, combining the music of jazz vocalists Ori Dagan and Alex Pangman with jazz dance collective Holla Jazz, led by Artistic Director Natasha Powell. This interdisciplinary evening will provide an opportunity to showcase a variety of Toronto talent, with the added goal of exposing audience members to art they may not accustomed to experiencing. Grounded by the familiar, the idea is for everyone present to simply have fun as you "let yourself go!"
